The Vendor is required to provide the district with substitute staffing services.
- Staffing categories may include, substitute teachers for grades Pre-K thru12, instructional assistants, paraprofessionals, secretaries, health room assistants, custodians and others as required.
- Staffing needs may be pre-planned or may occur at the last minute; the district’s desire is to ensure that every classroom/location needing a substitute is appropriately staffed each day with qualified personnel.
- Training of candidates in areas such as blood borne pathogens; attendance policies; Title IX and sexual harassment; discipline; mandatory reporting; student neglect or abuse; school safety and individual school building policies such as playground/active supervision; anti-bullying;
- Orientation program regarding the District's classroom management systems such as lesson plans, grades, etc.; any and all other training related to the candidate's duties as a substitute teacher.
- Provide current contracts where similar services are being provided.
