The vendor is required to provide that employment services will include but not be strictly limited to: job search assistance, job readiness training, job retention, job development and job placement.
- consultation:
• the successful bidders will work with division grants project manager from the first day of the contract through to September 30, 2025, to partner in developing a plan to implement this project and ensure services are available to non-custodial parents (NCPs) beginning October 1, 2025.
- Include for services:
• Job search assistance: services or resources designed to help individuals find and secure employment.
• Job readiness training: services that prepare individual to enter or re-enter the workforce.
• Job development and placement services: services focused on connecting individuals with suitable employment opportunities.
• Job retention services: services to help individuals maintain employment over time.
• Work supports: any other services designed to help individuals secure employment and remain employed.
- Successful bidders will assign program participants to a specific employment specialist – employed by the bidder – who will be responsible for confirming program eligibility, obtaining participant consent to participate, gathering participant baseline and contact information, conducting assessments, developing an individualized employment and training, monitoring participant progress, and reporting progress to division
- Provide vocational education, skills training and activities to improve literacy are preferred, but such services are not required to receive an award pursuant to this solicitation.
- Occupational skills training: targeted training that equips individuals with specific knowledge, technical skills and certifications needed for a particular occupation or industry
- Basic literacy and skills training: training that involves teaching foundational skills essential for employability.
