The vendor is required to provide high-quality and cost-effective temporary employees pursuant to this contract for temporary positions, often under tight deadlines.
- Pre-screen all employees to be placed as temporary staff to ensure they meet the requirements of the awarded category.
- Shall have a reporting system with the capability to allow for tracking, timekeeping, and customized cost reporting.

1. Clerical office temporary employees.
2. Financial/accounting/payroll temporary employees.
3. Light industrial temporary employees.
4. Heavy industrial temporary employees.
5. Skilled trade temporary employees.
6. Medical office support temporary employees.
7. Substitute teacher temporary employees.
8. Nursing temporary employees.
9. Human resource temporary employees.
- Clerical office temporary employees:
• Shall have a general office knowledge, as well as knowledge of alpha and numeric filing systems.
• Shall have the skill set to accomplish tasks such as answering phones; processing the flow and logging of paper work; filing; distributing mail, office supplies, and documents
• Shall haves the skill set to do basic research such as locating available information from files; telephone calls, and other basic resources; making appointments; operating office equipment, (e.g., copying machines, fax machines); and helping the public over counters.
• Shall also include tasks such as data entry and retrieval; utilization of data base or spreadsheets; word processing; minute taking and transcribing; and composition of letters.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to clerical office work.
- Financial/accounting/payroll temporary employees:
• Shall have the skill set to perform tasks such as general bookkeeping; posting of data; verifying numbers; processing vouchers; and other related technician level tasks.
• Shall generate and reconcile accounting reports; perform accounting functions utilizing spreadsheets; and review fiscal transactions.
• Shall be skilled in operating a 10-key adding machine or calculator with speed and accuracy.
• Shall have a basic knowledge of general accounting and basic accounting principles, including air and a/p and common software programs.
• Shall be able to control books through quarterly reports, trial balance, basic statements and be able to consolidate worksheets, perform account analysis and prepare financial statements.
• Shall be able to maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data, update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
• Must be able to determine payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments and resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to financial/accounting/payroll work.
- Light industrial temporary employees:
• Shall have the skill set to perform a variety of general labor jobs such as material handling, loading/unloading trucks, custodial, maintenance, warehousing, shipping/receiving, stock clerk, and assembler.
• Shall never use any power/pneumatic equipment such as nail guns, drills, saws, etc unless the eligible user gives written authorization to allow such use.
• Shall utilize safety equipment at all times while performing duties pursuant to this contract, such as a hardhat, safety glasses, hard sole shoes, etc.
• Shall be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds assisted by another associate or hand truck.
• Shall perform duties such as janitorial, shipping, inventory, etc. as needed.
• Shall be able to perform light general labor for buildings and grounds; operation of delivery van; housekeeping and related; snow removal and lawn care, warehousing and general labor.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to light industrial work.
- Heavy industrial temporary employees:
• Shall be able to perform heavy manual labor within a warehouse setting, construction, building maintenance, or other higher risk activities.
• Shall be able to perform heavy assembly and driving to include a variety of higher skilled labor jobs in a high-risk work environment such as operating various types of power equipment.
• Shall utilize safety equipment at all times while performing duties pursuant to this contract, i.e., hardhat, safety glasses, hard sole shoes, dust mask etc.
• Shall be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to heavy industrial work.
- Skilled trades temporary employees:
• Shall be able a to perform skilled trades such as bricklaying, carpentering, concrete work, dry walling, electrician work, heating/air conditioning work, pipe fitting, machinist work, millwright work, welding, and any other type of work requiring a skilled trade.
• Shall be able to perform duties such as painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, flagging services, etc.
• Shall be able to operate industrial equipment, including heavy equipment, which may require specialized licenses and/or bonding.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to skill trade work.
• Shall be able to include local drivers, certified forklift operators, cdl drivers and heavy equipment industrial laborers.
• Each driver or heavy equipment operator shall have all proper licensing before being temporarily placed as an employee.
• Shall be screened by the contractor to make sure all necessary licensing is fulfilled, and contractor shall maintain the driving qualification on file in accordance with act regulations, which includes the employee physical, annual reviews and license dates, thru the employee contract.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to skilled trade work.
- Medical office support temporary employees:
• Shall be able to perform duties within a medical office such as front-office support, claims processing, patient service representatives, hospital/physician billing, insurance follow-up, consulting/AR cleanup, art/RRA coding, charge posting, file clerks, QA/UR, administrative work, receptionist work, DME billers, and data entry.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to medical office work.
- Substitute teacher temporary employees:
• Shall adhere to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher and follow procedures and achieve lesson goals as outlined.
• Shall assign and explain homework as needed and oversee students outside of the classroom including in the hallways and cafeteria.
• Shall comply with all school regulations and policies at all times and take attendance and document daily notes.
• Shall ensure classroom and work is kept clean and orderly and oversee the normal classroom rhythms and activities.
• Shall compile a report for the teacher for when he/she returns.
• Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A bachelor’s degree in teaching is preferred but not required.
• Shall have industry standard certifications relating to substitute teaching as well as any other certification deemed necessary by the eligible user.
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to substitute teacher work.
- Nursing temporary employees:
• Ability to asses and plan nursing care requirements and provide pre- and post-operation care as needed.
• Shall monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions when directed.
• Along with taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures.
• Must be able to write records, organize workloads, and provide emotional support to patients and relatives.
• Shall have any industry standard certifications relating to nursing as well as any other certification deemed necessary by the eligible user.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to nursing work.
- Human resource temporary employees:
• Must consult with employers to identify needs and preferred qualifications of potential employees.
• Shall interview applicants about their experience, education and skills.
• Must contact references and perform background checks.
• Shall inform applicants about job details such as benefits, working conditions, and hire or refer qualified candidates.
• Must conduct new employee orientations and process required paperwork.
• Shall be able to perform all industry standard functions pertaining to human resource work.
