The Vendor is required to provide strategic support in collective bargaining and labor management, including leadership in contract negotiations with Union Local 500.
- The consultant will serve as the district’s chief negotiator for the union bargaining team and provide leadership in managing grievance processes and other labor relations initiatives, as needed, to support uninterrupted school operations.
- Chief Negotiator for Union Negotiations
• Lead bargaining strategy, proposal development, and negotiations for the agency contract.
• Coordinate with HR, legal, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on strategy.
• Track proposals and agreements, and produce summaries, briefings, and implementation plans.
- Labor Relations Management
• Oversee grievance workflow and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain labor-management meetings, dashboards, and trend reporting.
• Identify emerging issues and recommend preventive actions, guidance, or training.
