The vendor required to provide temporary personnel service provider(s) to furnish temporary staffing services on an as-needed basis.
- Services shall encompass recruitment, screening, placement, and management of temporary personnel across various job classifications and departments throughout the city.
- Pre-employment processing
• Criminal background checks through appropriate state and federal databases
• Employment history verification for previous 5 years
• Reference checks from at least two professional references
• Drug and alcohol screening in accordance with city of mesquite, state policies
• Skills assessment and testing relevant to assigned positions
• E-Verify employment eligibility confirmation
- Administrative functions
• Recruitment and advertising for qualified candidates
• Interview and selection processes
• Payroll processing and tax withholdings for temporary personnel
• Workers' compensation coverage for all placed personnel
• General liability insurance coverage
• Professional liability coverage where applicable
• Unemployment insurance and claims management
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
• Maintenance of personnel files and employment records
• Time and attendance tracking systems
• Performance documentation and reporting
