The Vendor is required to provide event staffing services on an as-needed basis.
- Anticipated Types of Events:
• Conferences, trade shows, expos
• Academic events and speakers
• Cheer and Dance competitions
• Graduation ceremonies
• Children shows and family events
• Concerts, Comedy Shows, and other large-scale special events
• Non-collegiate athletic tournaments
• Smaller receptions and meetings
- Requiring Event Staffing services for approximately 150 to 200 event days per year; these figures represent the combined estimated number of days for events at all of the venues.
- These estimates are provided for planning purposes only and do not represent a guarantee of volume or minimum spend.
- Athletics events, to include, but not limited to:
• Men’s and Women’s Basketball games
• Lacrosse games
• Field Hockey games
• Men’s and Women’s Soccer games
• Volleyball games
• Baseball games
- Provide management, supervision, event staff, and other personnel to:
• Oversee event entry and egress for all patrons
• Manage security checkpoints and screening
• Enforce venue policies and protocols including, but not limited to:
o Prohibited items
o Disruptive behavior
o Tickets / Passes / Credentials / Venue and area access
• Monitor crowd control
• Prevent incidents and safety hazards
• Respond to disturbances, medical emergencies, and other incidents
• Assist guests with questions and needs, helping with high levels of customer service
• Maintain incident reports and event logs.
- Provide training and instruction to all event staff / personnel regarding:
• General crowd management, emergency response, venue evacuations.
• High levels of customer service
• Current industry trends and security risks
• On-site venue specific / event-specific policies and procedures

- All personnel will wear approved uniforms, and/or meet required dress code (event and position specific); and have proper identification badges displayed at all times.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or disruptive behavior.
- Provide trained and uniformed event staff to assist with access control, crowd management, and general safety functions.
- Personnel must be capable of performing duties such as ticket checking, bag inspection, ID verification, guest screening with ceia opengate (or other applicable metal detection system), and maintaining orderly ingress/egress.
- Supervisors must have prior experience managing security operations for large public events.
