Data Analytics Provider Service

The vendor is required to provide that a cloud-based packaged analytical application product developed specifically for higher education with pre-built integration to the Banner ERP application administration database.
-The analytical application product should:
•Include a satisfactory academic progress calculator and optimizer - a calculator tool that will automatically calculate all three satisfactory academic progress components at the program-level as specified by college policy.
•This calculator should also be able to compare the student’s current transcript against all active bristol degrees and certificates to determine the best program for the student for satisfactory academic progress eligibility.
•Include standard metrics and a pre-built library of reports based on achieving the dream needs
•Allow end users to run a degree audit against all students for all programs, which would show students might be just a specified number of courses away from completing a credential, even if it’s not one they are currently pursuing
•Include the ability to take snapshots, or point in time data.
•The system should allow users to see the enrollment today compared to the same day in the previous term’s registration cycle.
•Provide out-of-the-box extract, transform and load data from ellucian banner student information into the packaged analytical application product.
•We need source code from the extract, transform and load data process to be documented and available for customization.
•Provide predefined integrations with other data sources and provide -compliant interface to interact with other data sources on campus.
•Ability to integrate with major campus systems including but not limited to banner, canvas, navigate, degree works, and slate.
•The college to track student interventions and compare and correlate those interventions to outcomes such as course completion, retention, graduation and transfer.
•Provide out-of-the-box report reporting functionality for enrollment, graduates, class schedules, class registration and faculty workload using data extracted from existing ellucian banner tables.
•Provide a vetted data dimensional model that uses and populates data cubes that are specific
to reporting and analysis using the ellucian banner student administration data.
•Need source code of the data models to be documented and available for customization.
•Include a pre-defined data dictionary explaining fields mean and showing how each
field is transformed based on the raw data from sources like Banner.     
•Provide a productized process for customizing the system to meet the college’s unique
requirements, yet be able to easily install vendor product updates with minimal effort.
•Provide pre-defined set of business rules, data definitions, dimensions and measures specific
to student reporting and analytics and a productized process and methodology to change or
extend.
•Provide a business intelligence tool with an end user or practitioner friendly client interface
that allows for drag and drop filtering of 100s of Banner fields.
-Contract Period/Term: 3 years
