The Vendor is required to provide enterprise searching platform is required to enhance search capabilities across the city's digital landscape.
- The platform shall include:
• Have the ability to efficiently index and search approximately 15,000 pages on the city’s website.
• Support for an average of 250,000 queries per month, with the capacity to manage up to 8,000 searches daily.
• Provide for web crawlers specifically designed for orchard, extron, and granicus platforms.
• Have optional connectors for integration with service now, sharepoint, and one drive.
• Develop a metadata engine to enhance search accuracy and relevance.
• Have capability to implement search functionalities across various mobile and web applications used within the city.
- User stories and functionalities:
• Rank search results by relevance and frequency of use, providing an optimal user experience.
• Search for data, reports, and other assets while understanding their complete meaning, lineage, and relationships.
• Facilitate data source discovery through advanced search algorithms and methodologies.
• Provide comprehensive web crawling capabilities for orchard, extron, and granicus.
• Enhance data asset search ability through improved indexing and metadata creation.
- Operational requirements
• Tools and protocols for debugging index corruption, ensuring high service availability.
