The vendor is required to provide system for county ride for reservations, scheduling and dispatching paratransit trips.
- The software should accommodate the tracking of the county ride fixed-route service, but no fixed-route scheduling software or timekeeping are necessary.
- The new software must include the following:
• Conversion of existing trip and client databases
• Client registration and data management
• Driver management
• Vehicle management
• Reservations, including trip booking, management of standing order/subscription trips, and trip modification and cancellation
• Scheduling
• Dispatching, including trip and incident management
• Billing
• Reporting
• Customer service
• Customer-facing tools
• Integrated automatic vehicle location (AVL) for fixed-route and paratransit services
• The software applications shall include context sensitive help capability.
- The software applications must run fully in the user context and shall not require elevated permissions or administrative permissions on the desktop.
- All software applications can be written and run on any operating system; however, it needs to be compatible with the following:
• Windows 11 and newer operating system (OS) versions for clients
• If web-based, Microsoft edge, standard browsers and current versions
- All software applications must support role-based security. - Provide network security requirements (ports/internet protocol addresses, etc.)
- Required to notify county ride when new releases of software applications become available, and when current releases and related systems are no longer supported.
- Hardware:
• Confirm in their response that no hardware or software will be required on the county ride premises with the exception of agency workstation personal computers (pcs), on-board tablets and printers.
• A mobile device management solution to manage the mobile devices, including on-board mobile data terminals (MDTS)/tablets.
- Software:
• Provide software and specifications for hardware that comprise the proposed central system, including the required number of licenses for all agency software users.
- Software’s security in these areas:
• Acceptable use
• Automatic log-off
• Data backup
• Emergency access to EHR
• Encryption and decryption
• IT risk management program
• Malware protection
• Password management
• Portable computing device privacy and security
• Privacy and security of protected health information
• Termination of access
