The Vendor is required to provide implement, train, maintain, and provide continuous improvement of a cloud-based student information system for alternate-credit programs (“SIS”).
- Hosting and back-up services must be located in state, in a secure data center;
- Comply with the state freedom of information and protection of privacy act (“act”) requirements;
- Demonstrate proven experience in supplying, implementing, supporting, and maintaining a SIS
- Provide 24/7 customer support post-implementation.
- A new SIS and corresponding business based on the following four (4) guiding principles:
• Flexibility in program structure to support cohort and non-cohort program delivery;
• The empowerment of learners through self-service that enables learners to manage their own journey;
• Adoption of business process best practices both within and across work units; and
• Reduction of manual work through automation and workflow. - The new Solution to address the following requirements:
• Customer relationship management (CRM) to support prospecting, marketing and sales as well as managing students, corporate clients, and partners;
• Ecommerce ability to integrate with moneris; integration with global payments and/or touch net would be desirable.
• ERP integration functionality that provides application programming interfaces (“API’S”) or integrated connections with the county banner ERP system (specifically student and finance modules);
• Student management system to manage learner information and experience;
• Ability to integrate with the bright space learning management system (LMS) to support delivering and tracking learner progress and results; and
• The solution is expected to be flexible enough to support future delivery models including potential changes to LMS.
