The Vendor is required to provide risk management information system include claims management (claims adjusting, setting reserves, recording payments, etc.), insurance management (loss control, asset management, policy management and underwriting).
- Provides a wide range of risk management consulting and advisory services such as generalized risk management advice and contract review services.
- The Solution proposed by requirements
• Claims Management;
• Incident Management;
• Asset Management;
• Insurance Certificate Management;
• Insurance Policy Document Management;
• Data Migration, Integrated Data and Storage Management;
• Alerts and Notification Management;
• Reports & Dashboard; and
• Explore opportunities for integration with existing incident management systems for reporting purposes.
- Recommend an appropriate Solution which fulfills the Province’s requirements as outlined and allows for future growth;
- Perform all professional services for software implementation, including but not limited to:
• Configuration;
• Customization;
• Implementation;
• Integration;
• Testing;
• Go-Live Support; and
• Post Go-Live Support.
- Provide details on all licensing requirements for the proposed solution;
- Provide details on all features that are included in the proposed Solution;
- Have processes in place for effective change management including use of non-production and production environments, change assessments, review and deployment processes, and contingency planning in order to mitigate risks;
- Provide technical support for the Solution post go-live. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Direct as-needed communication to troubleshoot issues related to the Solution functionalities/features; and
• Provide guidance to the Province on customization of the Solutions fields/reports, importing data, exporting data, technical support, etc.
- Provide administrator and user training for provincial employees that enables the province’s employees to effectively configure, use, and train other users on the solution
- Provide functionality for claim management including, but not limited to:
• The ability to allow an external user to report a claim via web form;
• The ability to open claim and incident files, providing a unique identifier to each;
• Allow the system user to record investigation information, as well as record payments and reserve information related to each claim;
• Allow the system user to store various data and claim documents within the proposed system;
• The ability to search and generate reports on application data and the ability to sort returned data using a variety of filters or criteria.
- Provide functionality for insurance management including, but not limited to:
• The ability to store insurance policies within the system;
• The ability to issue Certificates of Insurance;
• Allow the system user to track/record insurance certificates issued and received;
• The ability to record, search, update and report on different asset types.
- Support the capability to mask sensitive information in non-production environments;
- Fully integrate with several key existing solutions;
- Minimize manual intervention;
- Include all required software and licenses required to implement the Solution;
- Be scalable to meet the Province’s current and future needs.
- Be easy to use and intuitive; secure, configurable, and expandable
- Provide a positive user experience; and
- Support, at a minimum, the typical user roles but be configurable to allow for customization to the specific job roles included:
• Administrator: Full and unlimited access to all the system capabilities;
• Manager/Supervisor: managing teams and workflows;
• User/Member: regular users who use the primary functionality;
• Viewer/Read-Only: limited access rights, allowing access for informational purposes.
