The vendor is required to provide a customer-centric, online and mobile-accessible website that serves as a platform to manage alternative commute programming at agency.
- The platform will guide employees through creating a profile, finding alternative commute options available to them, joining their preferred program, reporting their alternative commute trips, and submitting program-required reports.
- The platform will also provide consolidated management and operations of commute agency programming in support of commute lax staff that eliminates all existing manual back office, data entry, transcribing, and manipulation of business processes.
- The system will also guide employees through other agency programming outside of commute-related programs (such as, but not limited to, incentive programs, surveys, guaranteed ride home, etc.).
- The rideshare programs (vanpool, carpool, transit, bike, etc.) each use a separate database to manage and monitor participation, develop new programming and incentive programs, collect data, program marketing, track logs, and prepare program reports.
- The rideshare platform is to consolidate all the programs into one platform, streamline ride-matching and reduce manual tasks by automating data gathering, notifications and reminders.
