The vendor is required to provide for fiber network management software (3-gis) and support deploying and populating the software.
- The town’s fiber network information is housed in an excel spreadsheet and mapped in google earth.
- The detailed information needs to be converted to a user-friendly interface.
- The town uses ArcGIS pro, a complementary ESRI product. 3-gis will be used for this project to build upon the town’s knowledge base and maintain consistency with other existing regional work.
- The town has nearly 100 miles of fiber which connect to signals, fire stations, well sites, offices, parks, and other town facilities.
- Training shall be provided by the contractor upon completion of system integration and data migration.
- The 3-gis software shall be able to document where network assets are located and the way in which those assets interact to bring service to the end user.
- The software shall model the signal path to gain a streamlined view of network utilization and availability, support faster outage restoration, and facilitate information sharing.
- The software shall be capable of mapping and documenting the town’s existing infrastructure, devices, components, and locations.

- Future use conduit including its size, location, and condition when provided.
- Perform a manual cleanup of data if required, make any necessary adjustments, and re-validate to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the transferred data
- Keep a log to monitor the migration process and record errors and transformations applied.
