Credit Recovery and Acceleration Online Curriculum Services

The Vendor is required to provide credit recovery and acceleration programs with the necessary software to support our hybrid classroom setting; specifically, software licenses will be purchased so that students have access to a rigorous, aligned curriculum.
- Credit recovery and acceleration programs operate during the day and evening and serve qualifying district at-risk students in grades 8 - 12 at comprehensive, magnet, and early college campuses.
- Curriculum and Course Offerings:
• Agency-aligned online curriculum for students (mainly grades 8-12) enrolled in credit recovery and acceleration programs.
• Lessons that are prescriptive and lessons with original coursework.
• Alignment to newly implemented and updated state essential knowledge and skills for all core content and elective courses.
• Provide a comprehensive list of all available courses, along with detailed course descriptions, prerequisites, estimated completion times, language options and any options for customizations or content modifications to meet district-specific needs.
• Coursework includes formative learning, summative semester exams, and outline management of nine-week curriculum bundles.
• Course options for at-risk African American and Hispanic students, offering a world-view instructional perspective with engaging instructional videos and scaffolding options for teacher engagement.
• Provide career and technology education (CTE) courses.
- Licensing and Access:
• Reusable and refillable licenses that are transferable if a student withdraws, allowing the course to be reassigned to another enrolled student.
• 24/7 access to the curriculum with instructor-guided lessons in a workshop, conference, webinar, or web conference for small group of no more than 5 students teaching and self-paced, on-demand lessons for students to complete within a set period of time.
• 24/7 access to online tutoring and digital libraries.
• Concept coaching must be provided per site as determined by the district’s personnel.
• Digital library must include grade-level 9-12 coursework: math, ELAR, science, social studies, electives, world languages, and virtual tutors’ curriculum.
• Concept coaching site must include grade-level 6-12: math, ELAR, science, social studies.
• A web-based platform with the ability to pre-load student data into the vendor’s system and provides archiving of student data.
• Ability to provide middle-of-the-year (MOY) and end-of-the-year (EOY) data for reporting productivity and assisting with scaling services.
• Reporting will be submitted in January for the fall semester and in august for the spring/ summer semester.
• Data reporting requires but is not limited to:
1. Number of students who access the coursework
2. Number of students who completed the coursework
3. Number of courses completed
4. Number of courses enrolled
5. Average grade of coursework
6. Average time to complete the coursework
7. Number of courses withdrawn
8. Course completion - platform and data management:
- Customization and access control:
• Ability for district personnel to customize content into separate portfolios and make amendments to portfolio operation and output as needed.
• Access for district personnel at various levels (e.g., administrator, site administrator, teacher, mentor, and student).
• Hands-on access for the proposal committee to review the curriculum system (login and password provided).
