The vendor is required to provide to purchase beret corporation’s computerized dynamic post urography (CDP) with balance advantage software.
- To the research team’s knowledge, beret is the only supplier that can provide a computerized dynamic post urography (CDP) with immersive virtual reality (IVR) system that meets the definition of computerized dynamic post urography, providing a 2 degree-of-freedom smooth moving force plate with both anterior/posterior translations and rotations with a fully immersive virtual environment and has unique capabilities such as:
• A dynamic post urography medical device which allows patients up to 450 LB and 6 feet 7 inches tall.
• Medical software and hardware that provides a driving simulator in a fully immersive virtual environment without patient obstruction to their visual field of view.
• Medical software that provides over 75 different modules (over 130 protocols with applications for assessment and rehabilitation) in virtual reality which can benefit a wide variety of patient populations with balance, visual, vestibular, and other movement disorders.
- Requirements
• The CDP/IVR computerized assessment and rehabilitation tool(s) must not have any visual obstruction to the patient; head and neck restrictions or pressures to the patient and also must not have any physical barriers to patient motion except for an adjustable safety harness.
• The CDP/IVR system platform height must not exceed 4-inches
• System must be capable of providing 8 assessments with 3rd party research validated normative data to compare patient performance environments with real-time objective data.
• System must provide 7 optical flow virtual environments with real-time parameter options including optokinetic (adjustable by speed, direction, and density), grocery (adjustable by velocity, platform motion profile, scene density and complexity), castle and airplane, plus driving, park, and boardwalk (all adjustable by velocity, platform motion profile, scene density and complexity, distraction incorporation, and cognitive task interaction and scoring).
• Includes fully immersive virtual environment medical software providing a true motor control test incorporating horizontal translation to induce a defined patient sway velocity response and based on normative data.
• Medical software that allows operators to make real-time changes within rehabilitation protocols to progress clients safely and effectively based on real-time objective data and client biofeedback.
• Software allows the operator to export raw force data from the dynamic motion base at 1000 HZ data output rate including FZ (left, right, and total), mx (left, right, and total), my (left, right, and total), COPx (left, right and total), COPx (left, right, and total), copy (left, right, and total), COGx (left, right, and total), and COGy (left, right, and total).
• The CDP/IVR dynamic force plate has an average vertical force sensitivity and 0.02 kg and an average cop accuracy of 0.25 mm for both COPx and copy.
