Academic and Career Planning Software

The vendor is required to provide a commercial off-the-shelf (cots), configurable, vendor-hosted academic and career planning (ACP) software that is web-based and accessible to all students in grades 6-12 enrolled in a school and intends to use the results of this process.
- The software will include ongoing maintenance and support, while also providing for integration with individual school district student information systems and department data warehouse.
- Career-based and work-based learning experience coordination - provide statewide administration of the software feature that enables school staff (and students if applicable) to directly connect with local employers to participate in career-based and work-based learning experiences.
- The assessments available to help students explore their career interests, skills, and work values. 
- Include in your response screen shots of the assessments and note whether assessments can be retaken.
- The assessment results connect to searchable databases of both career cluster information and career/occupational informational profiles.
- Data and information is entered into the student portfolio using screen shots.
- Information from the student portfolio is transferred if a student attends a different school.

- A student can create, update, and review their academic and career planning goals using screen shots.
- Graphics, content, layout, and interaction elements are differentiated between middle and high school with little to no repetition to maximize student engagement and ensure age/developmental appropriateness.

- The software equally presents all postsecondary education and training options (including on-the-job training, two-year (2-year) and four-year (4-year) colleges, credentials, apprenticeships, and the military) in the postsecondary education and training program institution profiles, and postsecondary program/major profiles, as well as other content, lessons, and activities using screen shots.
- Create and manage student groups.
- The ability to create, assign, and manage lessons/activities included in the software and additional student assignments designed by an educator.
- Create and manage student surveys (other than the career interest, skills, and work value assessments that are already included).
- Customizable dashboard resources and add downloadable and uploadable documents/resources.
- Direct messaging to students and parents.
- Identify, manage and communicate with students regarding other ACP activities or events (other and CBLE or WBL).
- Track and manage ACP advising or conferencing sessions including the date of each conference, who is participating, and outcomes or next steps.
- Customize or turn on/off any features or assessments and/or the results of assessments.
- Educators upload information into the software.
- Identify the third-party plug-ins necessary for the software solution to function, such as sis, common app, and google.
- Focus on application development, security measures, updates, vulnerability assessments, threat detection, and improvement strategies.
