The vendor is required to provide information about web-based electronic health records systems that provide accessible, secure, and convenient record management for student health services.
- Collect information on the provision of an electronic health records system that includes highly efficient functionality in the areas of patient management, appointment scheduling, immunization compliance tracking, medical charting, electronic prescribing, and a robust patient portal for secure messaging, immunization record collection/status and online appointment setting, etc.
- The electronic health records system must be and remain in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Software applications must undergo a comprehensive risk and security assessment to evaluate the software application’s security protocols, privacy measures and alignment with state and federal laws and regulations as well as university policies.  
- Software applications may have the ability to transmit, process, or store university data on a software platform or service.
- Provide a comprehensive self-assessment of their application for review to ensure that the application or service meets university standards.
