The vendor is required to provide the training modules housed in the learning management system (LMS) include text, graphics, closed-captioned videos, and quizzes.
- Provides the following with regard to the LMS and modules:
• Securing hosting of the LMS at safedigindiana.com using a third-party web services provider.
• Integration of newly created modules into the LMS.
• Ongoing edits to each module as requested and needed.
• Provision of a fully capable LMS with all associated programming and services so the training module’s function and are freely available with associated log-in and account creation by trainees.
• Data captures of the following data and metrics:
o Emails address for users that have taken each training module
o Number of users
o Searchable database of testing results that can be exported
o Number of visits to the website and each module categorized by device type
o Data from each user as part of the free registration process, including name, email address, type of used, company name and type, address, age, gender, level of education, level of excavation experience, testing results, and how the user heard.
• Periodic software updates to the website to maintain current browser standards.
• Data backups of all updates at least every 24 hours.
• A monthly report summarizing the captured data
• Inclusion of a user survey inside the course programming.
• The ability to provide follow up messaging to users upon request of the agency.
• The ability for users to register for the training modules for free at mail with a valid email address.
• Provision of certificates for successful completion of each module.
- The provision of the LMS, as detailed above, the current vendor also creates new modules each year upon request of the agency.
• A rough outline of the module
• A written script for the module
• Rewrites and final edits to the script.
• Production of graphics, filming and animation, procurement of voice acting and on camera actors as necessary.
• Integration of the completed module into the LMS at mail.
- The current vendor has utilized the following approximate budget over a two-year period:
• Personnel costs - up to $ 86,200.00
• Non-personnel costs - up to $ 99,560.00
• Maintenance and support up to $ 16,000.00
• 2-year total up to $ 201,760.00.
