The Vendor is required to provide a consultant to help achieve full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across its public-facing websites and applicable digital documents.
- Ensure equitable access for all customers, including individuals with disabilities.
- Remediation of 5,000+ existing published documents on agency public facing website, providing instructor-led training for staff in producing and remediating accessible digital documents and developing a sustainable accessibility program to support ongoing compliance.
- Values collaboration, flexibility, and has a commitment to disability justice and digital accessibility.
- Demonstrates strong time management practices to ensure efficient resource utilization, timely task execution, and successful project completion within the established deadline - minimizing delays and enhancing overall productivity.

- Task 1: remediation to WCAG 2.1 AA & pdf/UA standards of all digital documents supplied to consultant by agency in a timely fashion.
- Task 2: instructor-led training either in-person or by video conference in the following topics:
• Creating, remediating, and testing office documents (word, PowerPoint, excel)
• Creating, remediating, and testing adobe pdf documents
• Creating, remediating, and testing agency -specific specialty document formats (to be decided)
• Document accessibility testing methodology
• Hands-on workshops and exercises
- Task 3: accessibility program development & management:
• Guide and advice on development of agency accessibility program
• Roadmap a sustainable accessibility program into future
• Identify agency -specific business processes
• Document procedures, processes, tools, and materials for efficient adoption of accessibility practices
• Initiate change management throughout organization culture for accessibility awareness
• Assess and advise on opportunities for improving outcomes in accessibility processes.
