The Vendor is required to provide for the implementation of an electronic document management system (EDMS) specifically tailored to support the operational and regulatory needs of its environmental services department within a long-term care home setting, as recognized under the long-term care homes act.
- Services include:
• Digitize and streamline documentation for cleaning, audits, and laundry tracking.
• Improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Reduce paper consumption and support environmentally friendly work practices.
• Enable better reporting for ministry compliance and internal audits.
• Enhance employee satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
- Integration with PointClickCare:
• The proposed system must have the capability to integrate seamlessly with PointClickCare, the facility’s existing electronic health record (EHR) platform.
• This includes, but is not limited to, data exchange, document linking, and workflow interoperability.
- Compatibility with Existing IT Infrastructure:
• The solution must be designed to operate within river view gardens’ current IT environment.
• Proponents should outline how their system will align with existing hardware, software, network configurations, and security protocols.
- Stakeholder consultation;
- Design and configure the EDMS to meet operational and compliance requirements;
- Integrating the system with PointClickCare and existing IT infrastructure;
- Providing training and documentation for staff;
- Offering ongoing support and system updates; and
- Ensuring data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
