Climate Survey Platform

The Vendor is required to provide by the ed-fi data standard and related technologies to implement the climate surveys under a single unified statewide enterprise survey platform that both ingests and publishes data via the ed-fi API.
- To obtain these evaluations, opinions surveys were constructed to measure stakeholder perceptions of several broad topics: home and school relations, the school’s learning environment, working conditions (only asked of teachers), and the school’s social and physical environment.  
- Beginning in 2022, specific items measuring students’ and teachers’ perceptions of school climate were included in the state’s educational accountability system and used to calculate indicators on school report cards.
- Single survey administration solution with which to administer the school climate surveys to teachers, to students, and to parents and guardians of students in schools.
- Ed-Fi is to provide a standardized open-source data framework that enables the integration of data from student information systems and other sources.
- Provide for a survey platform partner that can embrace this ecosystem to both roster required survey administrations and publish responses to the state’s operational data store.
