The Vendor is required to provide for a comprehensive parking management and security system (herein referred to as the “system”) that leverages best in class license plate reader hardware, closed circuit television, and software systems to enable a seamless and frictionless parking experience.
- The Vendor may be responsible for all aspects of the system, including but not limited to:
• Financing, development, procurement, installation and launch
• System maintenance and operation, including replacement of assets during the PPP Term and/or at the end of useful life
• Financial and business management
- The project goals include:
• Simplifying parking payments for customers and improve the customer experience.
• Increasing parking payment compliance and increasing parking revenue.
• Providing occupancy data and customer wayfinding to available parking.
• Improving safety and security through expanded and upgraded CCTV throughout parking facilities.
• Reducing the need for parking enforcement and citation issuance, lowering cost of enforcement.
- Software system(s) that provide parking permitting and payment options.
- Solutions or software capabilities to assist with carpool verification and/or vehicle make/model identification.
- Customer Service
• Customer service details regarding disputes, refunds, and/or system errors.
• Means/methods for customer service (e.g., remote 24/7 call center)
• Details for what customer service tasks would be expected by university and what will be within the scope of the vendor.
• Proposed service level agreement (SLA) terms to include guaranteed response times in the event of system error(s)/outage.
