Software Developer Services

The Vendor is required to provide software development professional services for the region’s department.
- Software Developer Services include:
•    Design and develop applications in accordance with the region’s standards and guidelines
•    Support oracle apex on premise environment and perform environment upgrades 
•    Code applications that meet documented business and functional requirements
•    Participate in planning activities and provide estimated time to complete tasks
•    Provide progress updates, code walkthroughs, demonstrations, and participation in status update meetings
•    Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timelines for development
•    Design and develop overall test plans
•    Design and develop unit test plans and scripts
•    Perform thorough application functional testing prior to unit
•    Develop and enhance front-end interfaces that provides user-friendly experience that follows user experience best practices
•    Integration of the applications and existing systems
•    Integrate with Microsoft SQL server back-end
•    Design and develop custom ETL processes from various data sources 
•    Complete code tasks, following the region standards and guidelines, for the project code repository (GIT, Microsoft DEVOPS)
•    Provide technical support during and after production go-live
•    Review and finalize functional business requirements documentation
•    Complete technical documentation of design and development artefacts where applicable (process, reports and dashboards) according to the standard of the region that may include but not limited to solution design specifications, system support documents, and deployment plans and scripts
•    Conduct knowledge transfer with the region staff on tolls and solutions developed under the contract
- Software Development Services (MongoDB, Express, React, NodeJS, Java, JavaScript, Python, Automation Scripts, MS SQL, Oracle APEX, etc.)
•    Design and develop applications in accordance with the region’s standards and guidelines, including but not limited to databases, workflows, processes, and interfaces
•    Code applications that meet documented business and functional requirements
•    Participate in planning activities and provide estimate time to complete tasks
•    Provide progress updates, demonstrations, and but not limited to, participation in status update and team meetings 
•    Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timelines for development activities
•    Develop and enhance front-end interfaces that provides user-friendly interaction with the end users and follows user experience best practices
•    Design and develop custom processes to load data from various data sources
•    Complete code tasks, following region standards and guidelines, for the project code repository (GIT), where applicable
•    Provide code walkthroughs and demonstrations of software to confirm that functionality requirements have been implemented correctly when requested
•    Provide technical support for production go-live
•    Maintain and support solutions as required
•    Conduct knowledge transfer with region staff on tools and solutions it has developed under the contract
•    Create cutover plan, migration, roll-back plans
•    Perform deployment and implementation activities
•    Identify and undertake required tasks to successfully deploy changes to production
•    Coordinate technical and business change management processes (such as change advisory board (CAB) and deployment briefing meetings, when required.
