Digital Learning Environment Accessibility Tool

The Vendor is required to provide digital learning environment (DLE) is designed to be a comprehensive, state‐of‐the‐art platform for technology enhanced teaching and learning throughout the agency system.
- Accessibility remediation tools play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, language barriers, or other learning challenges.  
- Accessibility Tool include:
1. Accessibility
•    Recognition and translation with multiple languages within documents and files
•    Evaluation to WCAG Compliance 2.2 and future levels as may be required by applicable law and/or agency policy/procedures.  
•    Interpret and translate mathematical, chemical, and engineering notation to an accessible format
•    Identification of accessibility concerns in different areas within bright space
•    Non‐descriptive link flagging
•    Check accessibility of link descriptions, spreadsheets, and media
2. Administration
•    Reports available and downloadable from a variety of sub‐organization levels  
•    Reports provide categorization for issue type, severity, and file type
3. Functional
•    Course level adjustments for language translation options
•    Course remediation options (revise, replace, and revert)
•    Student only accessibility scores for their uploaded content
•    Automation features for faculty remediation assistance
4. Support
•    Options/Opportunities for training, documentation, and end user support
•    Resources and guidance for assisting students submitted accessible work
5. Technical
•    Global and tenant level customization flexibility to ensure features and functionality is made available appropriately
•    Multi‐tenant flexibility to have certain specific sub‐organizations (campuses, departments,) enabled or disabled from the Accessibility Tool’s features, scoring, and reporting.
