Laboratory Information Management System

The vendor is required to provide LIMS system that has comparable functionality found in their current client and server LIMS system.
- The web-based LIMS system will be referred to as .net.
•    Design and implement beast for Prelog, property and evidence and crime lab requirements. 
•    Perform data migration from the production client and server beast to the newly configured .net system. 
•    Implement active directory sign-on for beast login. 
•    Migrate the new .net system from the development environment to the production environment. 
•    Provide administrator training for ongoing configuration and support. 
•    Provide go live support and then transition agency to standard technical support and maintenance
- System requirements
1. Web and application server 
•    Windows server 2019 or higher with 32 gig rams 
•    Partitioned for c and d drives. 
•    500gb and 1tb and expandable)
•    IIS 10.0 .net framework 4.8 minimum 
•    Crystal reports 2023 64-bit runtime 
•    DMZ access or high availability may require additional servers 
2. MSSQL database server 
•    32 gig ram minimum 
•    Storage sized to handle 2 environments dev and test and prod (suggest initially 1tb expandable) 
•    SQL server standard 2019 or higher 
3. Client workstations 
•    2.6 GHZ or higher processor w/ 8 gig ram 
•    50 GB of available hard disk space 
•    Microsoft windows® 11 
•    Microsoft edge or chrome 
•    Adobe acrobat dc 
•    Microsoft office – MS word 2016 or higher - desktop versions 
4. Hardware 
•    Barcode and scanners require USB connections.
