The vendor is required to provide data collection system for law enforcement inside a public safety software suite.

• Information dissemination to the public for road closures, weather conditions and disaster preparedness relating to traffic situations;

• Broadcast for wanted or missing persons or vehicles;
• Updates to the media on major events and traffic conditions;
• Documentation of all law enforcement functions transmitted across state radio networks;
• Intelligently map all calls for service, problem areas and serious incidents through GIS.
- Include a computer aided dispatch (CAD) and records management (RMS) system with future expandability to include other modules and integrations as indicated.
- Solution requirements
• Solution must be a cloud-based public safety software that includes CAD, RMS, and data integration functionality.
• Solution must accommodate up to 1,100 sworn officer users including 37 concurrent stations (with 24/7/365 operations)
• Provide a minimum of three environments for production, training and testing.
• Cloud based systems shall be regionally protected from outages by ensuring corresponding disaster recovery sites are physically located in different regions of the continental united states with adequate data protection provided through regular data synchronization between environments.
• Data belonging to the state may never be stored, accessed, processed, or transmitted outside the continental united states.

• Include comprehensive disaster recovery capabilities for the system and services provided under the contract, ensuring continuity and data integrity.
• To implement regular and systematic data backup procedures, including both full and incremental backups, to ensure timely data restoration capabilities.
• Maintain and regularly update a detailed disaster recovery plan (DRP), outlining protocols for various disaster scenarios, and provide this documentation to agency for review.
• Redundant infrastructure components in place, such as servers and storage systems, to enable failover in case of equipment failure.
• Conduct regular testing of the DRP to confirm its effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on test outcomes.
• The data centers used for ITSM data storage are secure and protected against both natural and man-made disasters.
• May utilize cloud services for additional backup and disaster recovery support as long as the cloud service environment adheres to all other environmental requirements including, but not limited to, data compliance and security standards.
• Comply with relevant data protection laws and regulations in their disaster recovery practices.
• Responsible for maintaining a clear communication strategy to keep agency informed during disaster recovery efforts.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors to provide integrated disaster recovery systems to the ITSM system and related integrations.
• Conduct regular training and awareness programs for their staff to ensure preparedness and effective response to disasters.
