- There are a total of 440 system users who are using the platform daily to manage their studies.
- To guide users, over 100 Job Aids were created explaining workflows and specific work steps.
- A new system would require training all users in the province which would lead to major delays in the conduct of clinical trials in the province.
- Oncore data would need to be migrated to the new system which will be costly and may not be possible.
- Existing integrations would need to be rebuilt and tested which will be resource heavy and cause further delays.
- To support a transition to a new system, the province would have to maintain the oncore system while a new system was being implemented at four institutions.
- A new Clinical Trial Management System would cause major disruption for all users and the provincial clinical trial program.
