Gate Management System and Flight Information Display System

The Vendor is required to provide gate management system (GMS) and flight information display system (FIDS) to analyze and compare proposals from vendors to provide a comprehensive, scalable, and cloud-native GMS and FIDS.
- Gate management system (GMS) requirements
1. Automated gate and stand assignments:
•    Allocate gate dynamically based on flight schedules, aircraft type, and operational needs 
•    Provide real-time updates using data from swim, ads-b, and other sources. 
•    Enable manual overrides for exceptional cases or emergencies.
2. Scenario analysis and forward planning:
•    Offer tools for simulating different operational scenarios (e.g., peak traffic periods, weather descriptions) 
•    Support forward planning for up to 90 days to optimize resource allocation.
3. Integration with airport operations database (AODB):
•    Service as a centralized platform for real-time operational data. 
•    Enable seamless data sharing with other systems, such as FIDS, baggage handling, and security
4. Analytics and reporting:
•    Generate detailed analytics on gate utilization, delays, and passenger flow. 
•    Provide customizable reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Flight information display system (FIDS) requirements
1. Real-time flight data display: 
•    Show accurate, up-to-the-minute information on departures, arrivals, gate assignments, and baggage claim statuses.
•    Incorporate automated updates via integration with the airport’s GMS and AODB.
2. Multilingual and accessible content: 
•    Display information in multiple languages to accommodate diverse passenger demographics. 
•    Include accessibility features, such as high-contrast modes and screen readers, to comply with ADA guidelines.
3. Dynamic content management: 
•    Support advertisements, emergency notifications, and customizable layouts. 
•    Offer tools for airport staff to update content remotely in real time.
4. Mobile-friendly features: 
•    Provide an iOS and android-compatible FIDS app for passengers
•    include web widgets for integration into the airport’s website
- Installations of systems:
•    Install GMS software on cloud infrastructure with minimal local server dependency. 
•    Deploy pi devices and configure associated screens for the FIDS.
- Risk management:
•    Development and implement a risk management plan to address potential deployment challenges, including system downtime and data migration.
