The Vendor is required to provide a clinical partner that is backed by a strong virtual platform.
- This will allow our institutions to provide outstanding 24/7 support to students in need.
- By implementing a state-of-the-art virtual mental health services partner, the agency System will increase strategic and flexible approaches to the provision of mental health services by:
• Increasing access for students with a 24/7 on-demand service.
• Reducing real or perceived barriers due to the location of on-campus services.
• Expanding resources for sub-clinical concerns through peer-to-peer support.
• Coordinating service provision across campuses for uniform benchmarking and impact analyses
- Provide the following types of virtual mental health support:
• Clinical – general counseling appointments
• Specialty clinical counseling care – e.g., substance misuse, sexual assault, disordered eating, et al.
• ADHD assessments
• Psychiatric services
• Peer-to-peer support online community provides a safe, inclusive, judgment-free environment where students provide and receive support from other peers, helping build social connectedness and peer support related to their mental health.
• The platform includes 24/7 moderation by licensed mental health clinicians to provide time-sensitive risk detection and clinical intervention, as needed.
• 24/7 on-demand emotional and crisis support service with clinical providers available to problem-solve with students and provide crisis support when needed.
• The service supports help-seeking while helping students navigate resources and serves as a triage function.
• Coordinate and refer to local hospitals through local emergency services.
• Wellness coaching with professional coaches provides one-on-one, short-term, goal oriented service for students to develop well-being and self-management strategies.
• Coaches provide support as students set and work towards desired goals.
• The service also helps prevent symptom escalation.
• Evidence-based, self-guided, skill building modules/courses for stress-reduction, sleep, anxiety, depression, interpersonal effectiveness/relationship building, emotional regulation, and other essential life skills.
• Interactive self-screening
• Provide group workshops
• The offeror's system must be able to integrate with the PyraMed system to ensure quick and easy record keeping for centralized case management and comprehensive clinical approaches, where appropriate.
- This will ensure students have access to immediate care after hours as needed.
