Microsoft Power Bi Platform

The Vendor is required to provide two separate training sessions, two-three days (15-20 hours) instructor-led virtual training on Microsoft power platform to approximately 45 Public Works.
- This training is to introduce topics on Microsoft Power BI’s data driven visual analytic solutions.
- The vendor shall perform training services during public works’ operating hours, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. the vendor shall not charge public works for cancelled classes in the event of the following circumstances: catastrophic disaster, rainstorm, or other natural disaster.
- Provide a work plan to deliver services to include course descriptions, learning objectives, lesson plans, outlines, instructional methods, and minor course activity customizations to meet the Department's needs.
- Power Platform Training Modules:
•    Build a strong foundation by learning the essentials of Power BI, including its key components and how to install Power BI Desktop.
•    Understand the flow of using Power BI, from connecting to various data sources, importing these into Power BI, transforming the data and then presenting it effectively.
•    Exploring data connectivity and transformation using Power Query Editor. 
•    Work hands-on with real-world datasets.
•    Data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), the core engine driving Power BI’s analytical capabilities. Learn how to build reports with various types of aggregations and filters.
•    Using Power Bi to design reports and visualizations. 
•    Develop interactive visuals and discover powerful insights. 
•    Learn about the various types of themes and custom visualizations possible in Power BI and how to use them.
•    Learn how to integrate Excel with Power BI to build a powerful and dynamic business solution.
•    Practical hands-on projects that bring everything together. 
•    Using real datasets to build a complete Power BI solution.
