The vendor is required to provide Integrated Library System (ILS) with demonstrable experience delivering excellent products and support services to its customers.
- Product requirements:
• Product is a cloud-hosted solution that includes circulation, cataloging, reporting, and administrative modules
• Compatible with windows and mac operating systems
• System should be able to manage over 100,000 print items which may have multiple records per item to support industry standard cataloguing.
• Library staff access should include at least 2 concurrent users for back-end access at any given time.
• Includes an online public access catalog (OPAC) that has a responsive and accessible design that is user friendly and intuitive, available 24/7 with no limitation on the number of users, and optimized to use on computers and handheld or mobile devices
• All systems and documentation for delivery must be in compliance with state law regarding act standards, currently WCAG 2.1 level aa
• Reporting capabilities should include data on loan records and the ability to run reports on new catalog records entered or deleted in a given time frame.
• Solution provided, accounts for effective use of staff members limited availability for migration and training.
• Product can be customized to meet agency aesthetic and accessibility standards.
• System must comply with all current department data security and data privacy policies, and vendors must comply with appropriate processes in case of any data breach.
