The vendor is required to provide parking access and revenue control system for include:
• Improve traffic flow and parking efficiency with automated barrier control and license plate recognition.
• Enhance campus security through integrated access control and real-time monitoring.
• Provide improved payment processing, revenue tracking, and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure act compliance and adherence to current industry standards.
• Reduce maintenance downtime and associated operational disruptions.
- Requirement:
1. Demolition and removal
• Remove all existing parcs equipment, associated conduit, wiring, loops, and ancillary components as indicated in the contract documents.
• Dispose of removed equipment and associated components in accordance with local codes and owner’s requirements.
2. New parcs equipment installation
• Supply and install new entry stations, exit pay stations, and associated intercom systems.
• Install barrier gates and control arms at designated entry and exit points.
• Provide and install license plate recognition (LPR) cameras at each entry and exit lane.
• Install card readers, AVI readers, and associated access control devices per specifications.
• Provide bollards, mounting posts, and protective devices for all new equipment.
3. Electrical and communication systems
• Install all required conduit, wiring, and connections between parcs devices, it rooms, and electrical rooms.
• Provide dedicated power circuits, disconnect switches, and terminations for all parcs equipment.
• Coordinate with agency IT team for network and data connections.
4. Loop detectors
• Furnish and install new inductance loops per contract documents and manufacturer’s requirements.
• Coordinate installation to avoid post-tension cable damage in structural slabs.
5. Integration and configuration
• Configure parcs software for all operational functions, including entry and exit control, payment processing, access logging, and reporting.
• Integrate with agency existing security, fire alarm, and access control systems as required.
6. Testing and commissioning
• Perform functional testing of all equipment, software, and integrations.
• Provide training for agency staff on system operation, reporting, and maintenance.
• Submit as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranty documentation, including extended warranties, and all close out documents as required.
7. Add-alternate
• Installation of a pin hole camera.
