- The system must support key medical workflows, including:
• Travel health consultations, ensuring agency and their dependents receive appropriate medical guidance before deployment.
• Medical evaluations, assessing personnel fitness for overseas assignments.
• Case management for ongoing medical conditions, including treatment plans, referrals, and secure documentation.
- Requirement:
• To configure, implement, and provide ongoing support for a modern electronic medical records (EMR) system tailored to the needs of global affairs.
• This system will be secure and cloud-based platform, delivered through a subscription model and hosted entirely within data centers.
• It will be accessible via a secure web portal, ensuring availability to authorized users across the organization.
• The EMR system will be used by authorized medical professionals and administrative personnel to securely manage patient records and streamline medical workflows.
• It will be built to comply with all relevant privacy and security regulations, ensuring that sensitive health information is protected at all times.
• To support accountability and data integrity, the system will include audit trails to monitor access and changes to records, as well as comprehensive audit logging to track user actions.
• Role-based access control (RBAC) will be implemented to ensure that users can only access information appropriate to their roles, further safeguarding patient data.
• The system will be its ability to interoperate seamlessly with external EMR systems and healthcare partners, enabling efficient data exchange and continuity of care.
• The EMR system will be implemented in alignment with the agency digital standards and will adhere to the policy on service and digital.
- Tasks
• System maintenance and compliance: provide ongoing maintenance and updates to ensure the EMR system remains secure, functional, and compliant with applicable standards.
• Maintain and deliver up-to-date compliance documentation as required.
• Integration and testing support: assist agency with integration testing to ensure the EMR system functions correctly within the existing technical environment.
• Privacy impact assessment (pia) support: support agency in meeting its privacy impact assessment obligations.
• Deployment and operational support: deliver and configure the EMR system in accordance with agency operational environment.
• Provide training or onboarding technical support for authorized personnel, as needed.
