The Vendor is required to provide districtwide mass notification and communication platform for district-wide use.
- Services include:
• Provide multi- language options in user preferences for communications
• Support dual roles in system (employees who are also parents)
• Ability to send photos and multiple file types (PDF, JPG, PNG)
• Dedicated vendor account manager for the district (ongoing support & escalation)
• Ability to receive communications without requiring an app download
• Do not share Parent/Guardian contact information with third-party vendors
• Screening functionality for sensitive content
• User preference settings for communication method (text, email, app, phone)
• Ability to mask/rewrite the “source” phone number for mass text
• 24/7 customer support availability
• Ability to edit message once scheduled
• Admin/District can turn off “reply all” for parents (parent replies only go to teacher)
• Ability to add specific staff (counselors, SLPs, nurses, etc.) to distribution lists
• Fully functional mobile app and desktop application
• Include email, text, and phone (voice) messaging capabilities
• Support two-way communication (teachers/parents, teachers/students, coaches, clubs)
• Ability to create and send newsletter, direct newsletter link automatically created
• Translation and accessibility in two-way communications
• Clerical staff can remove parents from blocked list upon request
• Add school name to text messages without affecting character count
• Provide analytics/data for messages, newsletters, etc.
• Emergency broadcast messaging for lockdowns and similar events
• Platform logs user actions (logins, sent, messages, admin changes, impersonations with audit trail)
• Ability to upload CSV/Excel with student IDs for targeted messaging
• Secure self- service document delivery to parents (unique reports)
• Manual creation of guest accounts (coaches, external users, etc.)
