The Vendor is required to provide to gather current market information for an enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) software system for enterprise human resources and finance (including payroll, utility billing and revenue recovery) and related services.
- Review a comprehensive, fully integrated, public-sector ERP system and supporting services, in an effort to modernize and streamline County business processes, standardize data collection and reporting, and to support decision-making that leads to improvements in operational effectiveness.
- Objectives to include:
• Consider the degree to which commercially available ERP systems are likely to meet county’s business requirements;
• Learn more about the pros and cons of various technology options;
• Obtain planning estimates of appropriate county staffing recommended to prepare for, implement, manage, and maintain an ERP solution;
• Inform the composing of a potential and effective future proposal;
• Provide stakeholders information relating to modern ERP systems for core finance and human resources functions; and
• Understand the user interface of modern ERP systems in order to conduct a comparative analysis of the county's current environment against industry standard applications.
- Provide responses in the following areas:
• Human Capital Management (HCM)
• Finance
• Procurement
• Utility Billing
• Security
• Integration
- The County’s current ERP system is based on SAP modules that may require modernization to improve efficiency, reporting, and integration across Finance, Human Capital Management, Procurement, and related modules.
