Meal Rethermalization System

The Vendor is required to provide for a meal rethermalization system for the center.
- System must be capable of holding overnight for sixteen (16) hours in chill mode with heating systems designed to achieve performance specifications.
- Cold food temperatures must pull down from 50°F to 40°F or below in 45 minutes with a full load of meals and the docking station in chilling mode.
- Independent hot and cold zones must be present to preserve integrity of each meal component.
- System must have automatic shut-off at end of cycle, and over-temperature protection.
- System must have built-in temperature sensors with digital display and continuous monitoring.
- System must have high-temperature and low-temperature alarms, both audible and visual.
- Cart must include handles to accommodate workers of various grab heights, gravity activated seals, full height stainless steel insulated doors, flush-mounted paddle latches for a hands-free slam-latch design, and optional locking.
- Cart must have a minimal turning radius of 41.75 inches or 106 cm.
- Cart must not require electrical controls, cords, or on-boarding refrigeration.
- Must include descriptive and actionable alarms, and audible alerts.
- Must be compatible with a meal delivery cart that holds twenty-four (24) standard meal service trays.
- Must have a heavy-duty stainless-steel interior and exterior for durability and ease of sanitation and fully insulated walls to retain heat and reduce energy consumption.
- Must be constructed with welded stainless-steel frame, high impact polymer top and side panels on the base, including two (2) heated condensate pans.
- Must remain securely paired with docking and emergency cart release in case of power outage and automatically dock when close in proximity.
- Must be equipped with CFC-free refrigerant, include 6,600-watt heating elements, and incorporate a 1.25 HP compressor.
- Must activate electrical connection to rethermalization upon docking and automatically shut off when undocked.
- Must have user-friendly programable control panel with at least three (3) preset modes: automatic, manual, and repetition.
