- The tool will need to effectively and efficiently allow for identification of students, both active and inactive, who have completed the necessary coursework for a degree or credential or who are close to completion.
- The tool will auto generate completion plans that allow students to see a roadmap of how they get to completion from where they currently are, including being able to see how different decisions or outcomes (e.g., moving a class to a different semester) will impact their path in the timeline.

• Auto generates plans that allow students to see a roadmap of how they get to completion from where they currently are, including being able to see how different decisions or outcomes (e.g., moving a class to a different semester) will impact their path and timeline.
• Ability to easily identify options and fastest paths to completion for current students who may be exploring alternate pathways (i.e., changes in program and catalog year) for personal, professional, financial, or academic reasons.
• Ability to easily compare time to completion and best fit academic paths for potential transfer or returning adult students who may be debating time and ROI to decide about coming to OU.
• Ability to identify best fit options for stop-out students to return and earn their degree.
• Filtering capabilities and dashboards to automatically identify students meeting or close to meeting degree and credential requirements.
• Ability to create an optimal plan based on degree requirements, individual preferences, advising best practices, and historical institutional data.
• Ability of degree planning system to automatically account for transfer coursework, credit for prior learning (CPL), and placement exams to ensure plans are individualized based on students’ progress to-date.
• Ability to provide students with schedule options based on courses with available seats and those that fit around their availability.
