The vendor required to provide change management and business analyst for implementation of student information system (SIS) for include:
- Representing client at the following, but not limited to:
• Project team meetings
• Schedule meetings
• Project working committee meetings
• Vendor workshops
• Steering committee meetings
• Any other as required and determined by the project organizational structure
- Change management consultant (60%):
• Play a key role in successfully leading technology transformation for colleges and institutes.
• This role requires a hands-on approach to solving problems, planning and supporting changes related to all aspects of the employee and student experience and operational improvement initiatives.
• Develop actionable and targeted change management strategies(s) and plans that support business readiness.
• Assess the potential impact of proposed changes on various stakeholders, business processes, and systems.
• Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop measures to mitigate or address those concerns and ensure long-term change sustainment.
• Manage the execution of change activities, including training, learning, and communication in collaboration with the project team, colleges, to ensure alignment and integration of change management activities with overall project objectives.
• Training lead: develop the training plan, content and roll out *working side-side the business SMEs, their expertise on business process is required to translate to training.
- Business analyst (40%):
• Elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the business needs (requirements) and ensure requirements traceability across the project life cycle.
• Capture the ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ states (e.g., document business processes, workflows, rules etc.)
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and solution teams, ensuring the changes, ultimately align with the goals and objectives.
• Work with both the vendor(s) and the colleges on transition to operations.
• Liaison with the advanced education ministry resources.
• Work closely with the senior business analyst and technical lead.
• Other responsibilities will be identified as project moves forward.
• The selected consultant will be responsible for providing their own equipment (e.g., laptop).
• Existing documentation and resources related to the current agency system will be made available to the successful proponent.
• Working schedule will be developed jointly with the college upon contract award.
