The Vendor is required to provide for provision of comprehensive Microsoft support services, including expert consulting and on-demand technical services for Microsoft 365 (m365), SharePoint, azure active directory, power bi, workflow automation, and related applications within the agency digital ecosystem.
- These devices are licensed with Windows and managed through Microsoft Intune (device-based) to ensure secure configuration and compliance; clients access their own cloud applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) and no M365 productivity licenses are assigned to these devices.
- Agency is also preparing to expand its technology ecosystem to incorporate advanced AI-driven capabilities, including Copilot for Microsoft 365, AI-enabled workflow automation, and deeper integration between M365, Dynamics 365, Power BI, and related platforms.
- Microsoft environment, including:
• Developing and recommending a compliant Microsoft licensing strategy aligned with agency operational needs and future growth plans.
• Providing guidance on license lifecycle management, renewals, rightsizing, and cost optimization opportunities (staff licenses, loaner device licenses, and related products).
• Advising on configuration best practices, security posture, data governance, and optimization of agency M365 tenant architecture.
• Acting as agency representative with Microsoft or other third-party vendors as needed to resolve issues, validate requirements, or escalate technical concerns.
- On-Demand Technical Support Services
• Microsoft 365 Administration
o User management, groups, permissions, mail administration, Teams/OneDrive/Exchange configuration, and general troubleshooting.
• SharePoint Online Support and Development
o Configuration, site design, permissions management, troubleshooting, and structural improvements.
• Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
o Setup, configuration, conditional access, identity protection, and ongoing maintenance.
• Device Management via Intune
o Enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, security baselines, and management of agency loaner laptop inventory.
• Security, Compliance, and Cybersecurity
o MFA, threat protection, governance, compliance center configuration, proactive risk mitigation, and security best-practice guidance.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer
o On-demand training sessions for agency staff, development of training materials, and knowledge transfer to internal IT resources.
- Support is expected to average 10–30 hours per month, on an as-needed basis, unless project work requires additional hours.
- AI and Workflow Integration (M365 Ecosystem)
• Implementing and configuring Copilot for Microsoft 365 (advisory + technical support).
• Building automated workflows using Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 tools.
• Integrating AI-enabled processes into business functions.
- Power BI Analytics and Dashboards
• Connecting Power BI to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other data sources.
• Creating custom reports and dashboards tailored to agency operational and strategic needs.
• Advising on data architecture, governance, and best practices for analytics.
- Dynamics 365 Support and Integration
• Supporting integration between Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Customer Insights, Data verse, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Assisting with configuration, data flows, and customizations that enhance operational efficiency.
