The vendor required to provide inventory and logistics management solutions for include:
• Provide personnel necessary to operate an on-site at locations identified by fleet services that will provide for a just-in-time inventory management system for ordering automotive parts, equipment, and supplies for the repair and maintenance of the county’s vehicles, trucks, generators, and equipment.
• Ability to provide prompt delivery of automotive parts, equipment, and supplies on a daily schedule to locations identified by fleet services or when emergencies arise, expedite delivery to locations identified by fleet services.
• Provide for parts replacement and warranty management.
• Stock and non-stock parts sourcing of original equipment and aftermarket parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide a computer for computer ordering and cataloging at each location identified by fleet services.
• During non-working hours or during emergencies, provide emergency response within two (2) hours of notification by fleet services, and provide emergency response for requests for automotive parts, equipment, and supplies
• Provide a list of personnel who will respond to emergency services requests.
• Provide fleet services with the following reports:
o A daily listing of all parts delivered and the cost of each part or supply and percentage markup, if any, on each;
o A comprehensive monthly billing report detailing the work order number, property control number, and part numbers;
o List of personnel assigned on-site with hourly rate and benefits;
o Monthly management fee; and
o A schedule of warranties.
- Fleet services operations
• Fleet services operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with a half-hour lunch.
• To ensure all parts and supplies are available during fleet services' operating hours, the contractor's hours will be 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• Fleet services currently utilizes these services monthly.
