The Vendor is required to provide the design, setup, and implementation of a Microsoft fabric-based data warehouse/lake environment to the university research.
- The engagement will include hands-on co-development, knowledge transfer, and mentoring of office staff.
- This will include fitting the configuration within the existing office architecture. A metadata-driven Extract, Transform, and Load ("ETL") teamwork for ingesting on-premises and API-based data sources into Fabric that is scalable to other sources will be co-developed alongside the office team.
- Integration Demonstration: Provide a working demonstration of API-based data ingestion and integration with Fabric components within our medallion architecture.
- ETL Framework Development: Co-develop a metadata-driven Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) framework for ingesting on-premises and Application Programming Interface (“API”) based data sources into Fabric that is scalable to other sources. Including moving up to 400 GBs of data in 125 tables into a bronze, silver, and gold repository and modelling data into a usable star schema based on office existing logic.
- Remote consultation is accepted; however, must be able to meet during normal university business hours.
