Play Management Tools Research Services

The Vendor is required to provide to conduct a study of utilization of play management tools on sports wagering apps in state, as well as provide recommendations to increase uptake of play management tools.
- This approach recognizes that players differ from one another, as each player plays in a unique manner and to varying degrees is susceptible to harm. 
- This means that there should be a hierarchy of potential interventions designed for different player groups, ranging from a focus on promoting positive play, to providing access to play management tools and help resources, to offering programs to exclude oneself from casinos and/or sports wagering apps.
- These tools allow players to voluntarily set deposit, wager, and loss limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Individuals may impose more restrictive limitations at any time, but can only select less restrictive limits in most cases after the duration has expired.
- This may be helpful for individuals who have not yet determined whether they may benefit from voluntary self-exclusion, where players may voluntarily exclude themselves for longer amounts of time.
