The Vendor is required to provide for a system wide preferred technology software and solutions reseller to serve as university strategic sourcing and fulfillment partner, providing a comprehensive portfolio of software products, cloud services, and related value added services and support for university locations, including the sourcing and resale/fulfillment of software licenses and subscriptions from a broad range of office publishers and associated value-added services
- Provide to select one or more system wide Value-Added Reseller (“VAR”) Suppliers capable of supporting university multi-campus environment and participating agencies by delivering the best overall value and total cost of ownership through competitively priced, transparent commercial terms (including clear margin/cost-plus structures where applicable), strong service levels, and comprehensive reporting.
- Consolidate and rationalize a large and fragmented supplier landscape (including suppliers operating without system wide agreements).
- Strengthen risk mitigation through standardized terms, with software and technology office to improve contract visibility, and align with university data/cyber/procurement policies.
- Provide value-added lifecycle services such as pre-sales licensing advisory and optimization, compliance and documentation support, and system wide reporting (renewal/true-up alerts, usage/spend visibility, dashboards);

• Propose small business dealer network under which university may place orders directly with listed small business dealers.
• Support university small business network with the ability to add small businesses to supplier network.
• Pass-through pricing models where appropriate
• Flow-down terms and conditions consistent with university requirements
• Administrative and contracting support to reduce burden on small business participants while maintaining university compliance and auditability
