The Vendor is required to provide a complete museum ticket sale software solution inclusive of the following components and services.
- Essential functional requirements:
• Support for both general admission and reserved seating with venue seating map
• Support for wheelchair accessible seating
• Customers can buy tickets without registering or creating an account (guest checkout)
• Ability to charge ticketing fees directly to customers, no fees for refunds
• No per-ticket charge for reservations for free programs (or included in subscription)
• Allows ticket sales onsite at the venue, including cash sales, preferably with no additional fees charged beyond credit card fees
• Supports discounts for museum members
• Allows museum staff to process refunds to credit cards up to at least 90 days after the transaction
• Customizable box office reporting
• Integrates with BOCA ticket printers
• Capability to scan tickets, either printed or on a phone
• Ability to pay ach without credit card fees
• Payment versatility: hardware must support contactless and NFC (e.g., apple pay, google pay) as standard functionality.
