The Vendor is required to provide emergency and routine utility maintenance and repair services for all underground and above-ground utility systems, excluding electrical, located on the county.
- University owned utility systems on the town campus include a central steam plant, steam and condensate distribution/return networks, five natural gas distribution networks, sewer collection system with four sewer pump stations, potable water supply and distribution, oil and propane fuel storage tanks for heating systems and a stormwater collection system.
- Provide routine and emergency service for pipefitter, steamfitter and plumbing services, along with all construction equipment, excavation services and materials required to perform the necessary task/repair. Services shall also include investigation as necessary to ensure proper repair (locating, camera work, transit level, etc.).
- Utility systems covered under this service contract will include steam, potable and non-potable water, natural gas, and propane, heating oil, sewer and storm water infrastructure.
- Emergency responses will include assessment of utility failures, consulting with utility staff, performing actions, as directed, to minimize impact to the campus population and damage to the utility systems.
- Must demonstrate they have the capacity and knowledge to respond to an emergency service call within fifteen (15) minutes and be on site and properly equipped within one (1) hour of the request, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
