Carpool Matching Platform and Program Services

The Vendor is required to provide to gather information about available technologies, platforms, and program services to support a modernized campus wide carpool matching and management program.

•    Intelligent matching: technology-driven matching based on home location, schedule, and campus destination that goes beyond a simple bulletin board
•    University affiliation verification: ability to verify that participants are members of the University community (e.g., via University district)
•    Trip verification: mechanisms to verify that carpooling is actually occurring, enabling fair administration of incentives and benefits
•    Financial incentives: tools to administer meaningful benefits to carpoolers, such as per trip incentives or parking discounts
•    Equity and accessibility: particular consideration for low-income students, students with disabilities, and community members who commute from areas with limited transit access
•    Reduced administrative burden: automation of enrollment and management to reduce the current manual process handled by Transportation Services staff
