Canvas Open-Source Maintenance and Development Support System

The Vendor is required to provide canvas open source maintenance and development support on an as needed basis for the agency enterprise learning systems department.
- Provide open-source Canvas Development and Maintenance support to school.
- Provide system technical support of the core Canvas OSS application and environments, and will also offer recommendations for development as needed to provide a stable Learning Management System (LMS) environment.
- As is requisite with the implementation of a comprehensive technical platform, the Schools (LMS) requires an integrated plan and system of support for a distinct audience of users.
- Schools staff, administrators, and system managers require production support.
- This includes technical administration of the system and corresponding servers, management of system resources and technical documentation, and content being delivered to the district and schools.
- Site based users of the platform will require basic user supports ranging from local administration of courses and/or resources, to instructor development and delivery of content, and learner account support and available help desk services to ensure implementation success, and ongoing operational progress at the site level.
- Performance Measures:
• Provide network and systems support for the production and testing environments to the technical team assisting with the local implementation of the Instructure Canvas OSS.
• Provide Consultation and support for student information system (SIS) integration with the local implementation of the Instructure Canvas OSS.
• Provide consultation and support for learning tool interoperability (LTI) integration of external apps with the local implementation of the Instructure Canvas OSS.
• Provide agency with a demonstration of proven system backups for production environments.
• Provide documentation and ongoing communication and reporting protocols while supporting Canvas OSS to help expand the agency knowledge-based for their system.
