Software Deployment Solution

The Vendor is required to provide for a scalable software deployment solution to support a statewide cybersecurity program for k–12 school systems.
- Provide a solution and associated services that support centralized oversight with distributed administrative control across participating school systems.
- The Vendor shall:
• Provide a software deployment platform capable of supporting:
• 400–1,000 school systems
o 800,000–1,800,000 Windows endpoints
o 800–1,600 administrative users/technicians
• Configure the solution to support logically isolated environments for each participating school system
• Enable automated software deployment and update management across all supported endpoints
• Provide centralized management capabilities with delegated administrative control for participating school systems
• Support both
o Locally managed (district-level) deployments
o Centrally managed deployments
• Provide onboarding, configuration, and implementation support for participating school systems
• Provide integration capabilities to support interoperability with third-party systems, including ticketing and workflow platforms
• Maintain and support the platform, including:
o System updates
o Security patches
o Ongoing system availability
- Scalability Statement:
• A fully configured and operational deployment platform
• Administrative access for agency personnel and participating school systems
• Role-based access configurations aligned to organizational needs
• Implementation and onboarding documentation
• End-user and technical documentation
• Training materials and/or sessions for administrators and technical staff
• Reporting capabilities that provide visibility into:
o Deployment status
o Endpoint coverage
o System health and compliance
- Platform Security:
• Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
• Conditional access policies (where applicable)
• Role-based access control (RBAC)
