The Vendor is required to provide web-based waste management communication tool solution that enables residents to easily access, understand, and engage with municipal waste services through a user-friendly digital platform.
- The solution is expected to include, at minimum:
• An address-based search tool allowing residents to access their waste collection schedule;
• A searchable waste sorting tool to help residents determine proper disposal methods;
• The ability for residents to receive notifications (e.g., collection reminders, service disruptions) via email, SMS, and mobile application;
• Be accessible via web browsers and mobile devices using responsive design;
• Align with and be embedded within the city's public-facing website;
• Integrate with relevant social media platforms; and
• Support current usage volumes and future growth.
- The solution is expected to be:
• User-friendly and accessible for residents city staff, and administrators;
• Scalable and reliable; and
• Designed to encourage increased participation in waste diversion programs.
