Transportation Software

The Vendor is required to provide to procure a comprehensive transportation software solution capable of providing real-time bus tracking and transit information to the University community, including students, faculty and staff.
- The proposed solution must support live vehicle location services, route visualization, estimated arrival times, service alerts, and related transit communication tools accessible through mobile and/or web-based platforms.
- In addition to real-time transit tracking capabilities, the system must integrate with University identification card technology to capture and analyze rider boarding activity through ID card tap functionality.
- The software shall collect, process, and report ridership and operational data, including but not limited to passenger counts by bus, route, stop, date, and time period.
- The resulting data and analytics will need to be utilized by the University and/or its transportation service provider to support operational planning, route optimization, scheduling analysis, service efficiency improvements, mapping, reporting, and long-term transportation planning initiatives.
- Must provide a scalable, reliable, and user-friendly platform that enhances the overall campus transit experience while delivering actionable transportation data and reporting capabilities.
